Jeremy Britt - "Biggest Loser" 2012
Jeremy Britt is the season 13 winner of the NBC’s Biggest Loser as well as the youngest participants to ever win the show. From an early age, Jeremy was competitive and driven; however, his passion for the best did not assist with his weight issues. Although active in sports and, specifically, baseball, the family tradition of heavy individuals continued with him. Graduation removed Jeremy from sports competition, and his weight grew after beginning a corporate career in banking. In one year alone, Jeremy gained approximately 80 pounds due to inactivity. After the loss of his grandmother due to weight issues, Jeremy realized it health change was urgent. An open casting call in Detroit led Jeremy to a life-changing situation – NBC’s Biggest Loser! He and other participants embarked on a 6 month weight-loss journey that resulted in Jeremy’s title of “Season 13 Winner”. With a trademark sense of humor and intense focus, he was able to shed 199 pounds (51.16% of his weight.) Jeremy now shares his remarkable personal journey as well as advocating healthy living. His goal is to set an example of healthy choices and successful weight maintenance. |

Grand Rapids Triathlon & MI Titanium
We are a group of triathletes who are passionate about growing our community healthy. As we ourselves have progressed in the triathlon sport and as triathlon participation continues to hit all-time highs across the country, we felt it was time to bring two USAT Sanctioned World Class Triathlons to the Grand Rapids area with the GR Tri and Michigan’s only Full Iron distance triathlon, The MI Titanium.
The GR Tri will be holding it’s 3rd annual event on June 9, 2013. This triathlon is now the 2nd largest in the state of MI and offers a sprint, olympic and ½ iron distance.
The MiTi continues to be the ultimate challenge for a triathlete. With both a half-iron (70.3) and full-iron distance (140.6) offered, it is 17 hours of pure adrenaline. The 2nd annual MiTi will be held on August 25, 2013. |
